Overview

This converter is intended to be used with XDF files created with TunerPro. Manually written XDF files may also work, however, it has not been thoroughly tested.

Object Types

Contants, flags, and tables are supported. Functions and patches do not transfer to the CAX format and are not supported.

XDF Fields

The converter will transfer the title, decription, address, decimal precision and parameter sizes.
Factor and offset are supported. This is in beta testing, so check the results to verify. CAX inversion is not supported, as TunerPro does not use this in parameters.
Only manually written units and TunerPro units are supported.
The converter will transfer the categories set for 'Category A' in TunerPro. This will be populated as the 'Major Category' in the CAX file.
Tables with a linked axis are supported. The axis does not need to be independently defined. The converter will build 2D axis tables as requied.
Bit offsets are supported.
Min / Max units from TunerPro are supported.
ASCII and HEX values from TunerPro are supported. These will be populated as an enumerator in the CAX file.

Known Bugs (v0.5)

Factors manually written in scientific notation may not work. Always save XDF with TunerPro to ensure it is compatible. (Long Term)
If your tables do not transfer properly, the XDF may need to be changed between Row / Column.
